Pilot's federation combat bonds without fee?

Hi,

I am receiving quite some combat bonds from killing Thargoids. Despite trading them in within the same system I get a hefty fee (around 30%). Is that normal or am I missing something? I have 2 AI pilots but they do not match the exact 30% and I am not even sure if they are included in the displayed fee percentage number?

SLF pilots DO get paid their Fee even if never used... fire them or pay their fees on every single transaction... yes...
Handing in at an IF station or FC contact will get you an additional fee instead of using a basic station combat bonds hand in,..

I noticed they no longer seem to die permanently anymore when my ship explodes? Was that changed?

Yes they are now rescued for a fee in 4.0 version rebuy screen....
you also no longer lose combat bonds on ship explosions in 4.0 which you may have noticed allready, in 3.8 every ship explosion wipes combat bonds...

Yeah I noticed and wondered whether it only applies to Thargoid battles. Thanks a lot everyone! Time to sell my master AI which I had as cannon fodder when not using my Elite AI.
