Finished project: Steam Workshop

Inside the caste Im working on right now I was going to implement a little inn, but before I knew it became a restaurant instead.

Then I thought I probably should make a workshop item out of it. So, some screenshots here.

Really like that - the third screenshot really shows off the pirate pub type feel. I especially like the way you've sank the set piece into the back - I'll be "borrowing" that idea!

Im glad I could be some inspiration for you [happy]. Guess why I needed those big 2 swords above that stage. Would like to see what you come up with.

I dont know yet. I guess I just need to experiment a bit and see what looks nice. At this moment Im thinking just a flat roof works best, although that would be kinda difficult to make it look good. Im worried the building gets to high with a sloped roof. Already lowered the hight of the current building a bit since I felt like it was too high. In my case the building will be integrated in the castle's outer wall which means I cant do a sloped roof, apart from the bit that sticks out of the wall. But first I will finish it for the steam workshop.

Finished the building. Some more screenshots:

For the top roof on the outside I've chosen for a modern looking roof with Air Conditioners on it. I mean, it might be a pirate/western themed restaurant, but customers still want to have a comfortable temperature inside [wink]. I modern insulated roof and air conditioning helps [happy].

Of course on the inside the ceiling does have the appropriate material:

Hey, that really turned out well! I like that you have a flat roof but there's still a lot of detail and the slope over the balcony area. VERY nice! Thanks for sharing, I''ll be using it for sure!

That's marvellous. Screenshots are just amazing. Seems good work till now. Waiting for the final work and hope you make the best one I think.
