Planco 2: Combined Wishlist, Ideas and Suggestions

Not an attraction per se, but I'd like a guest group editor, taking advantage of the better graphics in the PlanCo series. Also, themed rides, like greek machines, wild west themed rides(miss them in PlanCo 1, from RCT3).
If I had the skill, and if Frontier adds the possibility, I'd love to port rides from other games, like the Gorilla Swing and Tiki Coaster from TPW.
Another thing would be to be able to customize ride vehicles, like changing the rotary swings to other themes.

UI & Settings: A way to instantly delete the current search filter. There should be a little "x" on the right to delete the current search.

Okay, I have added almost all of the suggestions that I could find in this forum, so this is now a comprehensive list of the most requested suggestions. It should be easy to check if something has already been requested and if not, be sure to post it here, so I can add it to the mega thread on page 1.

I hope this also makes it easier for Frontier to look through the suggestions that are now sorted by category and marked by relevance.

I left out the stuff that is already confirmed for the next update such as edge scrolling, glass pieces, etc.

Would like to share my list in priority order.

Security Guards and ATM's
Street Fox Coffee
Staff Training
No Guest Cap for Sandbox
Desert, Beach and Snow map
Many more flat rides
Sci-Fi theme
Star Trek theme would be cool.
Significantly better default blueprints, Many rides don't even have 1. Would like to see a default blueprint for each ride and also with 1 blueprint for each theme.


Suggestion,
Would also be cool to see a Groundskeeper/Warehouse staff member in the game. Would carry out duties such as Tending to the plants, Cutting Grass, General Building maintenance (Not Rides), Deliver Supplies (food, merchandise) to Shops.

I would suggest an alternative station option in the water (similar to the log flumes) so we can properly add more boats to our ride in the water flume portion (boats can only be added strictly on water coaster track unfortunately). Also log flumes need to have a much steeper drop, and if water coasters and log flumes could load more than one boat at a time (at least two at a time would be great). I’m hopeful these receive separate load/unload station updates too! Lastly, the option to hide/render invisible the entry/exit gates at the station because they are an eye sore for themed rides. Vanilla version of the Splash Coaster boat or at least without the light.
 
Guys, you really gave us Vekoma fans a tough time:

Out of all Vekoma 4 Seater sit down, you picked the only one with 2 Cars and theming? Please give us the normal vekoma trains and get rid of 2 cars max. and put it to 4-5, but please give us the chance to make new gen Vekomas.
 
One really important thing which is a fix more than a new item - The bare shop counters currently only fit inside the path. They really need to sit on the outside like regular shop units.

  • Ability to Attach custom scenery to Transport & Dark Rides.
  • Remove Planet Coaster logo on queues.
  • Glass pieces.
And coaster supports as scenery pieces for custom ones, which you didn't include, but is confirmed.

On the other hand, I find it super weird that we actually got short grass and long grass brushes, but they didn't add the actual long grass model on the long grass brush. I hope they will sooner rather than later.

Additionally, here are some more suggestions:
  • Option to change coaster train orientation (as I said before).
  • Being able to walk out of paths in first person mode.

I'm shocked that I'm still the only person who has explicitly requested a Chance Yo-Yo/YoYo/Yo Yo (covering my bases with potential spelling variants). Did people not have these growing up?

Coasters I want:
Premier LIM Shuttle and/or Spaghetti Bowl
Arrow Shuttle Loop w/ Electric Winch Launch
Arrow Mine Train (or at least an option for wooden supports on Vekoma mine train)
Full Circuit Impulse Coaster without flythrough station or swing launch (partly covered by Gerstlauer Infinity Inverted coaster on the list)
Vekoma Flying Dutchman (Jinma Rides flying coaster also works too)

Mechanics I want:
Dual Loading stations (at least on all types of flying coasters)
Sliding Station (Available for at least SkyRockets, all Boomerangs, Inverted Impulses, and Premier Rides LIM Shuttles)
Semi-Random Rollbacks (All launched coasters) (wind physics optional)

Also, we already have Giant Inverted Boomerangs; they were there since Planet Coaster 1, and we also have the old gen tilt coaster that's now in PlanCo 2; why do we need the new gen one if we already have that (aside from looks)

I feel like "Fence Tool to create and draw Fences like Habitats in Planet Zoo" is a vital feature that needs to be added to PC2, I'm sure we've all spent hours placing individual fence pieces down in PC1 & trying to get them lined up properly. In addition to this, when you create a path with fences enabled, It would be good to have a selection of 10-20 fence style options (and possibly some kerb styles) that can be applied independently of the path style.

Another feature I would like is gate/door scenery pieces that open automatically when staff are about to walk through them. This would help the realism of having staff/restricted areas.
 
I would really like to have the rides that were taken away from the first game like the Condor Ride, Flying Eagles, Vekoma SLC, Scrambler, etc... We just need more flat rides in general... Would love if you guys added the ROTOR and Chance Skydiver

For waterpark stuff, id love to see the Bucket Dropping Playhouse added with slides and stuff. It's something that's in every single waterpark practically. Also would love the adventure river that's kinda like a more river rapids version of lazy river with drops and much faster water...

Also would love to see a way to make the racing corkscrew waterslides...

I second that it would be great if there was and opening and closing everyday along with an offseason during the winter months if you are in an area that has colder climates. It would be cool also if you could use different kinds of restraints on trains which would impact the excitement and safety ratings. Would love to see the rides paint fade when the ride gets older and needs refurbishment. Coasters paint chip/get rust

I just miss so many features from the first game... I understand that you needed to write code for an entire new game but I think you cut out a lot of what made the first game great with management, staffing features, rides/coasters, and scenery. Id gladly pay more money to get that stuff back in with this current game and I think you would really have an amazing game but there's just a bunch of stuff missing that I really enjoyed from the first game. ALSO REALLY MISS THE ORIGINAL SCENARIO EDITOR!!!
