It's been previously noted about billboard images that PlanCo needs its png files to be saved with certain settings or it won't show them right. I'm having a toolkit issue that may be caused by this on the png maps ( ugcArtifactNotFound - Ensure texture file format is valid ), but I can't check for it because I haven't been able to find a post that lists the settings. Can anybody link to one, or post 'em here?

My error is the same as yours. As for my png files, I'm not sure whether they're 8 or 24. Color profiles are not embedded, it has correct transparency and interlacing.

The png files were created in GIMP, and were originally Grayscale mode because even the base color map was grays -- later I resaved them in RGB mode in case that was the problem. Here are the export settings I used:
