Planet POI Gone?

After getting points of interest on a planets surface, they are gone after logging out. You can't seem to get them back either by reprobing or some other means.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Did you scan them with your "Composition Scanner" to get a CODEX entry?

I hav a feeling you need to do something like this for them to hang around. Or sell your mapping data?

The fixed POI's remain for me log out and back in, can you see them in the nav panel or do they vanish from there also?

I had this too, they came back after about a minute. I guess it's related to the current high server load issues.

They are just gone and don't come back even after a day or so. So I can't imagine it's server load. Not in the Nav panel or visible in the HUD

Yes. But it works on the "discoverables", like brain trees, space floating spikes, fumaroles etc. Point at the objects, press and hold the scanner button until it completes, like the data link scanner.

Have a look in your fire groups in right hand panel.

Comes by default in all ships, slf and srv. Bind in firegrouo panel.
