I really don't care about the aldabra. I guess eventually would like it back although there are other tortoises i found more interesting and want more like the red footed tortoise or the indian star tortoise or the radiated tortoise from Madagascar. If it gets replaced by any of those i'll be fine with that.

I like the Galapagos Tortoise the most, it is the only tortoise for me personally, I came to like the Spurred one a bit better, but the abracadabra tortoise can zap itself away and never return for all I care, I want sea turtles in zoo 2, and most of all the best turtle in the world, the Alligator Snapping Turtle.

I would not mind buying some dlc from pz1 again in pz2, but only if they increase the graphics enough, I wouldn’t mind a complete copy of the entire roster as well, at least that means the game still has Proboscis, Pronghorn and Saiga, the animals the realists have no feelings for and want gone. They should however, update all the ugly models from pz1, lion, okapi, hyena, bears, oh and scrap the hima brown bear and turn it into european please, let that chapter be over.

It’s a giraffe relative living in north America looking like an antelope, which is the second fastest land animal after the cheetah, but unlike the cheetah it doesn’t tire so easily, what is not to love? Realism can go shopping in Dubai, I want none of that, just keep the Prehistoric and fantasy creatures at bay. But the pronghorn is in serious danger of being left behind if not all animals are being transported from pz1 to pz2, so for pronghorn alone I hope they use all animals from the start, spare for some animals that need to be renamed. And Dall Sheep needs to split up into bighorn sheep and mountain goat.
I have not a single doubt animals like the Galapagos, Giant Panda or Markhor being left out in pz2.

I think the Aldabra hate is pretty overblown to be honest, they are quite a common species (definitely seen them more than Galapagos) and to me at least certainly look quite different and I think they make quite a good fit in Madagascar areas (I've also seen this done irl) to represent the nearby Mascarene islands as well as stand ins for Madagascar's extinct giant tortoises.

Oh yeah definitely, it just suffers from being outshined by the other two. Spurred having a better model that looks stunning, Galapagos for being bigger, more iconic and South-America representation. But having more than those tortoises is needed for PZ2 aswell.

The pronghorn is my favorite antelope (4th ungulate) and I love their colors, many zoos have them with many phasing them out.

My placement for the Galapagos Tortoise:
Well I originally had it in Deluxe/DLC but since you all can't stand something not being in essential lol (joking, you all raise decent points for keeping it) I moved it to essential. I had it in DLC to be saved for an early DLC like Islands however it does also make equal sense to have it in the base game.

I love them so much, they're some of the cutest animals in the game. That being said I would be okay with waiting for a DLC to include this animal.

They're not as essential for their region as deer, ibex or lynx so I vote European Badger to be in category 2 - save for DLC
