Another hard one that doesn't fit in any cathegory for me. I don't think is good DLC material a second time but is not trully essential either. I guess in this case i'm going with: should make it to the game but not necesarilly from base game.

BUT i would still stand by my believe that all European, Oceanian and SA should be in the base game. Those regions don really need any cuts. They already have the bare minimun of their key species (and SA even less than that).

I'm not really sure what is and isn't needed for Europe, so this is a bit of a hard one to judge for me. It's not an animal I'd have any desire to buy a second time over and I certainly wouldn't want it taking up a DLC spot, but I also don't see it as essential. I guess I'll go with a very hesitant save for DLC/Not in base game from the start, just cause calling everything essential gets rid of the point of the game. I'd much rather have it in a free update or something though, it's model is fine as is so I feel like selling it again would just be doing so for the sake of it.

BADGER
  • Doesn’t need to make it but sure

I'd rather see the Honey Badger make it's appearance, but I don't hate the European Badger at all, so if they include it I will breath all the same and won't riot. It will never be my favorite animal though, and I rarely use it.

As much as I unexpectedly loved the badger, I can't really put it in the Essential category. I hope it gets re-added in a DLC though.

The European badger is certainly one of the most iconic European animals and definitely unique on the roster, we don't have any other badgers. It is also somewhat common in zoos... However if we had limited slots I don't know if I'd keep it, I think when it comes to the roster of the Europe Pack it might be the first one to go. With how iconic it is though it definitely deserves a place on the roster so I'm going to say Save for DLC/Deluxe.

Also after some thought I'm changing my vote on the Tassie Devil to essential.
