1000% yes. PZ1 focused on building creativity and gameplay and actual zoo management got the bare minimum. While so many builders and people with far greater creativity and patience than I really loved this, those of us who like to build a bunch of 30 minute enclosures and then hang out and enjoy the game were SOL.Yeah, hopefully that gets fixed. I’ll be honest, if I don’t get these two things I won’t buy a potential sequel:
- First and foremost, I need more gameplay. More zoo management or zoo based gameplay features. Whether it be a zookeeper mode, better animal conservation, animal training, literally anything. I genuinely need this over more animals, and adding the building from PC2. I need the gameplay loop to expand past building and bare minimum management.
Really about 99% of gameplay is selling/trading/releasing babies, replacing older animals as they die, and updating enrichment when animals tire of them. Not exactly a thrill a minute, and the constant population management is more tedious than anything.
