Hello wonderful zookeepers!

Welcome to the October Monthly Catch Up, where we will be taking a look back at the last month to make sure you're up-to-date with all the latest!

News:

To kick things off, Planet Zoo is now on Update 1.3.4, so please ensure your game is on the current version before launching. This update should have resolved navigation issues, so if you're still experiencing them, please send us your save file: community@frontier.co.uk, and we will take a look asap! Thanks to everyone who has been reporting issues on the Issue Tracker, making us aware of any bugs they've come across, and sent in their save files. The team are working on the next update, and we'll keep you updated on issues we're aware of and working on!

Our (Re)Fresh Start competition finished in October, and we had a wonderful time looking through the entries - thank you to all who submitted a blueprint! Congratulations to Camille, who has won a Planet Zoo goodie bag for this incredible Peacock Caravan:

If you'd like to take part in our Planet Zoo competitions, just keep your eyes peeled for the next one; we have another competition coming up soon! We're looking forward to seeing all of the submissions!

Throughout October, we celebrated a few special days: World Habitat Day, Reptile Awareness Day, and International Snow Leopard Day! We hope you enjoyed celebrating those days with us, by researching into them and learning what we can do for them. Of course, if you missed out on the days, don't worry about it! You can still look into ways of helping our Animal Kingdom thrive, all year round!

Community Creations:
ZooEntrance_CloudBerry.jpg

Have a look at this Zoo entrance by CloudBerry! First impressions on new Zoo guests are incredibly important!

Hunter_Rahoor.jpg

The African themed Hunter/Predator house by Rahoor is brilliantly unique, and we're sure it will get you inspired!

Desert_Clemens.jpg

We love these incredible indoor Desert habitats by Clemens – ideal for looking after the animals not as used to the upcoming autumn cold!

Atlantis_Syrrael.jpg

Our minds were blown by this truly awe-inspiring build of Atlantis, by Syrrael! The lost city will surely have some lost guests with the size of this fully built Zoo!

Creator Spotlight:

The imaginative PoisonBlade has finished Kayan Al-Bashar! This is a must watch series on YouTube if you're after some inspiration, or if you just want to kick back and watch a Master Builder at work!

As always, let's finish up by havin a look back at the Zoopedia Facts we shared throughout October:
  • The Snow Leopard can jump higher and further than any other cat species; reaching heights of 6m when jumping and distances of 15m when pouncing!
  • Lehmann’s Poison Frog tadpoles often grow into froglets in small pockets of water in hollow trees or bamboo branches.
  • Siberian Tigers have the largest hunting range of any tiger species, and males will travel up to 1000km in search of food and mates.
See you all in November! ♥

Thanks for the catch up and for letting us know there is another update in works!

Also, I am really amazed what people can build. Not in my usual zoo style, but it sure is incredible. :)
