Planetary tagging

Has anyone else had problems with the planet tag button? I’m traveling through the galaxy doing a passengers mission and when I find something of interest I usually tag the planet. Suddenly three days ago my tag button stopped working. It just spins around like it’s loading but it doesn’t stop. As a matter of fact it has been spinning non-stop for three days. Is there a limit to how many planets you can tag? If not, can someone help me fix this problem.

You've hit the limit on the number of bookmarks you're allowed.

There have been multiple requests to increase the number (and to improve the functionality) but FDev have not yet indicated that they plan to make any changes.
