Horizons Planets visible from long distances

Just started playing Horizons and first thing I have noticed is that planets and moons are visible form long distances ie. > 2k Ls.
Previously only star would be visible from long distance while smaller bodies would be distinguishable from quite low distance.
Nice touch, even if it is small detail, not very noticeable, it adds to visual quality of the game.

Now to get the landing gear

I can clearly see Saturn in the sky from my house with light pollution from the street lights so why do you think you should not see planets 2k LY away from space?

The issue is another one, but I'm not sure if it's an issue or a cockpit feature.
Approaching planets, from the distance you can see them very bright even if you are coming from its dark side. At a certain distance the bright light goes off and you can see the planet with the correct darkness.
