Player faction for Explorers

I may be completely wrong, but wasn't there at one point a player group or faction focused on exploration? I vaguely remember one but now that I want to join one I can't find it. It could be the space madness getting to me though.

Well, there is the SEPP which was a contender for the Dangerous Games, and there always have been explorer groups of varying sizes. I have no idea who's active and who's not though. Your best bet would probably be posting an LFG thread in the Dangerous Groups section.
