That's right, what is earnrf is bounties and mission rewards if it is part of a mission, dropped Mat's are a bonus that you can pick up if you get the chance, it's not required by the devs to give you them, otherwise why even bother with letting them drop in space, if they are considered earned why wouldn't they just drop straight into the inventory I ask?.
