I indeed do like the idea behind SPEAR. I dislike the attitude of some current leaders of them. And ganking cmdrs which are clean and justify it with RL reasons is just low and imho contradicts the idea of SPEAR
Please don't attack defenseless...

I do not like the idea behind SPEAR. Tracking people's playstyle by external tools and hunting players down, who do not play the desired way... this is trying to dictate a certain playstyle: Play our way or be overwhelmed in x vs 1 - fights. And considering some players cheating with obvious input recorders this is toxic behavior.

It's not real life, it's just pixels. If the mentioned player likes shooting others, it's his way enjoy Braben's masterpiece. Everyone can decide to jump away and not to stay for a dance. And even if one explodes... Losing is part of every game.
But "SPEAR WILL NEVER FORGET" means you'll never forget, because... why? You ain't got other stuff to do? Yeah,... well, then...

So much projection and non-starters (who on earth would put "gankers" and "moral" next to each other?! Does it really need to be proven anymore that a lot of outlaws have absolutely no sense of moral?)...
I guess such gankers, would never ever post videos of their kills against noobs, nor would they keep records of their easy kills, nor would they post screenshots of it, nor would they portray it as some sort of competition, nor would they build a dashboard of kills during DW2, nor would they post on reddit / the forum about it with pat on the backs and high-five rolls, etc.
In the end, you get your kicks out of what you do, we get our kicks out of what we do, you have your audience, we have our audience. Why does it have to be complicated? Why do you think you have to convince more than yourselves that you are "right"? Just play the game, drop the insults and other unnecessary antics, and perhaps we would have more fun. It's just a game, it's supposed to be fun.

If only the folks that have been constantly exhibiting uncalled for behavior in and out of game against many of us, just over a bunch of pixels, would read these lines and copy them 1000 times... Lots of unsubstantiated assumptions being made about people nobody has met outside of Elite before.
Not sure about anyone else, but that says a lot about the folks behind the screen, in my humble opinion. A hell of a lot more than the ships they're flying or the kind of activities they engage in while playing the game.

Remember, we're all reading this in the context of a SPEAR leader unequivocally stating he's going after the person behind the screen.
It's troubling none of SPEAR connect the dots and see how truly problematic this all is.
It's obviously much easier to claim things without having to prove them. I prefer discussions that are backed by facts rather than allegations.
