The Dev blog https://community.elitedangerous.com/node/201 has not been updated in a very long time. I do realize that doing it weekly was overkill but a bimonthly update or even a monthly update. Some exclusive talks about the technology, design ideas, areas of research, the internal QA process would be so darn cool. It also doesn't always have to be Michael posting either, they could divide up the topics among people on the development team.
So much more could be done to keep the community updated and alive.
Obviously things discussed would NOT be promises they would make it into the game, unless otherwise stated
but could provide insight for those of us who are intensely interested in Elite Dangerous, Rendering Technology, Astronomy, Game design and Theory etc.. It could foster[haha] better discussion threads
