Please turn off Collision Detection on Scenery.... PLEASE!!

This is huge...

Tentacles around the arms of the Giant Frisbee? Check!
Hide the skyscraper and weird cityscape underneath the SkyAce? Yup!
Custom Fortress under and next to the Victory? Heck yeah!
Custom tower to get rid of the checkered pattern and lights on the Rotodrop? Yes please!

Is there a post about this in the spring update or just a mention? I'd be keen to see some examples.

Key issues being
- Collision too restrictive around flat rides
- Terrain bugs out/unchangeable around flat rides when it has to modify height.

From 1:12:00 you can see an example.

It´s really cool that they listened to the community and implemented an option to turn off collision detection. I´m excited to see where this leads.

Now that this feature exists, I imagine Frontier will consider it with their future free and paid updates. Maybe they will release flatrides that can be more easily themed than some of the existing ones.

Nice to know that finally, the collision detection has been sorted out. What we need next, is to be able to make proper waterfalls, without using the various water effect objects. [yesnod]

Considering the way development continues with Frontier, the large amount of content that has been released over the last year and the way updates have in some ways reflected the seasons maybe we will see water features in a Summer update? That would be really great! Its also been pointed out that there is a pool next to the hotel in the Monaco grand prix type scenario. Is that a hint of things to come?

Does this mean that we can lay railroad tracks through path now?

That's really nice looking, but that looks to be terrain, not path.

During the stream it was said that collision for paths cannot be turned off, so we can't make railroad crossings. The devs are, however, still looking into this so it will probably come somewhere in the future. Remember that at first they said collision couldn't be turned off for coasters either but now we got it!

I could see the effects that are long strips working for waterfalls, I'm a little surprised we haven't seen something like that yet. Maybe they do have bigger plans for waterfalls that wouldn't just be effect strips, something like they did for RCT3 where the water planes and landscape can interact to make one.
