I think the tier 7 reward for top 5% was 14M based on screenshots I've seen. Forgot to take one at that point myself.
I really enjoyed this CG and it was very nice to be a part of this endeavor !
I had a lot of fun :
Exploration : to find a sweet mining spot
Mining : to get the metals !
Trading : buying and selling between stations when I was not in the mood to mine.
Fighting : to keep the trade route as safe as possible
But now it's over until...
...the next stage begins !

I have just checked in to find I've earned 10M Cr for finishing in the top 40%
i am chuffed to bits with that tbh! I was just doing it for the fun and involvement so a flipping great wodge of cash is a big bonus

You could be right, sorry.
Someone else in another thread mentions the 15% reward not increasing on completion too so maybe that's what happened. I have to say I wasn't really bothered about the reward (don't really need it) so wasn't overly looking to see what it was, my attention was on meeting the CG target but also wondering if some of the new guys (and gals) would make it to cows poos (in a Sean Connery accent) in time.
EDIT >>>>>>>> here is a post in another thread which carries a screenshot showing that indeed the 15% reward at tier 7 was the same as at the end. (It also shows trhe 5% one at that point was 14M so I got that wrong too. Sorry)

I joined the fuel rats a few weeks ago so if you or your friends ever find yourselves in need of fuel I hope I'm the one that takes the call... Not quite as spectacular as your guardian angel wing but I'll be happy to bring the fuel !

Well, you always learn a thing or two. Maybe you guys will remember that when I initially went to Kaushpoos last week at the beginning of this CG, when I came out of SC to dock at Neville Horizons, I had a bunch of system authority ships going after me. The station also had its diamond-shaped icon in red so I didn't bother and thought I would sit out this CG. I did report a bug on this which then was converted into a suggestion, so that hostile people would get a partial amnesty to participate in CGs. After exchanging a few PMs with QA-Kae, he convinced me that if I was not wanted in the system, I would still be allowed to dock.
So, yesterday evening, I did try it. Again, upon coming out of SC, a few system authority ships came after me. I requested to dock and didn't get the standard reply (I forget what I got but it was not very nice), I proceeded as fast as I could with a fully loaded Anaconda to slip through the mail slot. The system authorities were more like bugs, lightly weakening my shields.
Emboldened by my first try, I made 4 additional trips to the station, each time managing to get into the station as fast as I could without any harm. I hate a large ship when you get to dock. Not only because it's tighter when passing the mail slot but also because, most of the time, the landing pads are right after the mail slot.
Anyway, I managed to get in the top 40%, will get a nice 9 millions Cr for about an hour of work. I'm often critical of Frontier but I think they nailed this community goal very nicely. Thank you, Frontier!

If a sidewinder can cross the entire milky way, which I know of one that has, then I'm sure it can make it to the Pleiades

I guess time to collect your reward with one more trip to Kaushpoos, unless you want to take the chance to automatically receive your reward in a couple of weeks and then wait for the next CG.
