Ploppable "Points of interest" for guests.

I was rewatching the last streams made by the dev-team, and noticed the guests looking at the band-props in parks. Since a lot of people make cool little scenery things I think it'd be cool if we were able to place an invisible "POI-marker" that would (randomly) cause guests to look at that. Obviously there would need to be restrictions in placement to prevent spamming and such, maybe a limited number/x meters path or something.

I'd suggest that it has to be placed within a certain radius of a scenery item... (I'm assuming that the point is to get people to look at a particular tree or plant or other scene made up of common items normally ignored by guests)

Guests dont ignore scenery items, they mentioned this is being improved upon in a Dev Diary. In RCT3 when you placed a certain # of scenery you would get awards, and guests are always saying they like the scenery. I'm sure things will continue to be improved, the game isnt finished yet. Guests also interact/show excitement for new rides, or when a coaster train passes over their paths.

The only thing guests dont pay attention to is terrain sculptures. Maybe there could be a way to designated an area of terrain that has been sculpted as scenery. People have discussed this a bit and it doesnt seem like a big deal to a lot of people. But like you said, it could be spammed

Im just hoping for guests to take photos, and maybe bring back the old "photo spot" from rct3!

I would like a POI marker for for a lookout where your guests go and have a look at your park at a high level on a mountain or such. A the moment the only way to get your guests to go there is to build a shop or a ride.

I think the best solution would be to have a placeable binocular stand for large lookout spots, and a photo-op object for more close up scenery. The important part though would be to have these objects not only do the specific thing, ergo guests performing an animation to use the binoculars or actually taking a photo at the photo-op area. Guests should also treat these objects the way you are mentioning in the above posts, as a general zone for guest interest. Because even though they wouldn't necessarily use the objects, the scenery next to them should still attract attention. Hope I've made sense.
