Point me to a material trader near Hera Tani?

I'm trying to get the thermal spread experimental upgrade for my power distributor but I don't see any traders on the galaxy map when I select the filter.

and for systems that you have already visited.

That'll be the key part of the message. I know a few people who have reported that they couldn't see the Material traders that I could see.
We eventually got to the bottom of it as being because they hadn't visited the systems in question.

If you click on the material in-game, it will tell you what type of economy/and security system is required for trader to appear. It only seems to say populated, but I think the population needs to be above 1 million.

I don't think they're bugged, I think it's just that they only show systems with traders for stations you've already visited.

They are definitely bugged, along with all the other filters. I tried finding a system in Outbreak last night and the map is a total mess. Nothing shows up, and if you do manage to find one of those "tiny" dark colored dots, there is no system name next to it or anything to click on.

Don't know what they did, but is an understatement. [down]

If you want to use the galaxy map to try and find these traders then you need to either have visited stations before with traders or use the following method:

From the Beyond notes:

Each trader type only trades in their type of materials and can be found in different economy types. Locations material traders can be found are:
- Raw Materials Trader: found at extraction and refinery economies, only trades in raw material found on planet surfaces and planetary rings.
- Manufactured Materials Trader: Found at industrial economies, only trades in manufactured materials.
- Encoded Materials Trader: Found at High Tech and Military economies, only trades in encoded materials.
- Systems also need to be mid to high security systems and have populations between 1,000,000 and 22,000,000.
• Materials Traders will not show up in anarchy systems.
• Materials Traders will not show up at stations that are currently controlled by a criminal faction.
• Materials Traders will be unavailable when a station is damaged, under repair or put on lockdown.

So, set your population filters to between 1 million and 22 million, then the economy filter as above, click on a suitable candidate, checking for the medium-high security and the other exceptions first, and use the system map to see if any of the stations in the system have a trader. Then go and see.

It's been working for me so perhaps what is 'd is your understanding of how it works.

There again perhaps not.

Been using outbreak filters to haul meds, it's working normally for me, mainly fringe systems, but it was like that pre 3.0

I wonder if having multiple types of filters is causing problems?

I've visited quite a few. All of them are available near Anlave, which I visited originally, and since then I'm seeing none of them using the services tab at any location on the galaxy map. Is this bugged? I can't see any of them regardless of filters chosen. Same goes for interstellar factors and black markets. Nothing is showing for me now, whereas before they were all colour coded and highlighted where appropriate.
