Fdev have already said they did not say that in the interview.
Please point me to the place where this was said, as I've not seen it?

One of the videos or screenshots showed an SRV with hatch open like that, so it is coming or at least was/is being explored.Just leaked! This is how we get our Armstrong moment!
It's on Burr Pits discord. He asked the question, they got back to him to say they didn't say that. Please point me to the place where this was said, as I've not seen it?
Nah, it's about whether cockpits themselves are in or not, currently it seems not. What would everyone's feeling be if it turned out the confusion about ship interiors was because cockpits were coming, but only cockpits?

I'm thinking we may get partial interiors for each ship. That's my hope anyway. I also don't see the point in having full interiors.
As you can see it says "we haven't confirmed either way". That's not a denial.Bottom line, we need to await clarification from Frontier...
Absolutely spot on, this. The new consoles are not even released. The first devs to adopt them have to spend considerable effort /money getting up to speed using the new capabilities. Since the new consoles should run old games (except those using Kinect, per MS), it's most economical for FD to have a crossover period and take more time to adjust Cobra to the new capabilities of the machines and the porting team to work out the least cost/effort way to port to the new console features that they want to support.
As of January 1, 2021 there won't be that huge an installed base to support the limited ED player base that will immediately shift and FD couldn't recover the investment for years. It just makes more sense and is more practical to not push on that for this year. But being a business, FD will of course plan to release games on the next gen consoles.
As I said earlier in this thread. That isn't what happened.
I asked Frontier for clarification, they were uncertain about what has been and hasn't been said - and needed to get clarification. Buur then posted the response to my question on his Discord. Which is totally fine. But Frontier didn't deny saying it.

You don't see the point in being able to walk on planets and engage in on foot combat because you might not be able to walk around your ship?
Meanwhile, there's no word on whether Elite will even be backwards compatible on a PS5. Given they've just announced that they have no plans for next gen at the moment, that leaves us currently with no future beyond PS4.Absolutely spot on, this.
Can you imagine if FD had put a hard dependency on PS5 readiness and XboxX readiness for the release of Odyssey?
It doesn't bear thinking about.
Can @OA or anyone confirm this "shared communication platform" with FD and "content creators" (they don't create content mostly, they just repeat what FD says to us all and stream gameplay-which anyone could do if they want. I watch a few videos but mostly find the whole idea of watching other people play a game to be a bit bizarre when I could just be playing the game myself. Here is a screengrab of what was posted in Buurpit's Discord, which is an apparent copy pasta of an official response to ObsidianAnt's query, apparently taken from a shared communication-platform seemingly populated by both FDev and content creators (including ObsidianAnt and BuurPit).

If you're asking NDA-tied content creators to break their NDAs, I think you're going to be disappointed. Can @OA or anyone confirm this "shared communication platform" with FD and "content creators" (they don't create content mostly, they just repeat what FD says to us all and stream gameplay-which anyone could do if they want. Along with leaked Early Access to EDO, I have a huge distaste for this type of "special" relationship for FD to have with a select few streamers.
It just seems out of tune with the times and a bit sleazy to me.
It isn't 1990, we have this great Forum and all sorts of stuff on the internet like direct Email where FD could easily engage all the interested players.
This is just stupid and probably also infuriates the DDF-tier backers who were promised powers to influence the game in no uncertain terms, but were ghosted by FD before launch.
Again, no issue with developers as I think they are doing good work. But FD Communication, Marketing and the whole idea of CM team- what are they even doing? It's like 94% secret, 1% teaser videos and 4% livestream playing the game and 1% actual engagement with Forums/community on gameplay, design, direction, etc.
[EDIT: You meant generically, not @StuartGT specifically.}If you're asking NDA-tied content creators to break their NDAs, I think you're going to be disappointed.
That content creators have early access to news isn't new - the gaming press have had the same for decades. It's the new paradigm of product promoting, getting the news out amongst many avenues etc. Same goes for forums, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc etc.
