Possible solution in support of ObsidianAnt's video "Why Elite Needs a Gold Rush"

ObsidianAnt made some good points in his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VagyJIMosvg on the need for a "gold rush" mechanic in Elite. I know this (and just about any proposed change) is like touching the 3rd rail in the subway, but here goes:

Rather than creating some new "weekend play, credits doubled!" sort of event, why not simply buff the values of the Community Goals? Currently, they don't offer even a passing return on credits/hr vs. mission stacking, lucky BGS RNG alignment of 30-80 million cr/hour missions, or the dread gold rush "secrets" that offer more. This could improve player engagement in community events and keep people playing who would normally only pop up for gold rushes.

I don't know what the CG formula is for calculating global awards per rank and tier, (looks like it could be a sigmoid function? It's been a while) so I'm going to use a simple power function:

Global Awards = A * x^B
where A = Reward Tier * 100 000
and B = Reward Tier / 2.3 (The divisor can be tweaked to boost/lower the spread of the global awards values)
and x = rank value (lowest rank 100% = 1, next rank = 2, et cetera)

Current Tier 7 rewards are as such:

BTW, what are 5F thrusters shown in the vid? Is that a joke?

EDIT: Otherwise I'm not sure about gold rush but Thargoids definitely should pay way more.
