did anyone know, guildsystem will be implemented in the next update ? I mean ED feels really cool, but with out guild or corporation system however you wanna name it the game makes no sense for big Player-Guilds.
There comes no feeling for playing really together just in the 4 wings and this is really not enough for an online game.

Please understand this is not a hate post, just my personal meaning. ED is not a bad game, but miss the essential features for a online game.
Anyone knows about guildsystem for future updates ?

I truly hope not. One of the (many) reasons I was so excited for elite was due to the lack of guild content - and is one of the reasons why I am totally put of eve.

For me the factions is the perfect solution of offering guild like content for those who want it, but also offering something for those who do not want it.

time will tell however.

With those powers FD probably achieved (at least on paper) making some sort of "npc guilds", which i think could be a perfect balance between a "MMO" point of view and a single player game point of view (balance which i suppose they want achieve with ED)

Well i'm not FD(just a mod) so i dont know much more than you do ... but i do want to know probably as much ^^
"DLC" is not the term i'd use there, because of the baggage it has, i would use it for paintjobs or such but those updates mentionned above are discribed as big additions to the game in content and gameplay, so "expansions" works better imo.
But we'll have to see. I certainly consider being able to land seemlessly wherever i want on an earth-like world possibly bigger than the earth with cities and life as a big addition, not mentioning the possibilities that it will bring on top of simply landing.

Yeah, sorry, i use "DLC" because is shorter but i guess Elite: Dangerous will have the same idea as Blizzard with World of Warcraft. You can like or not that game but the expansions are completely worth to buy because adds a lot of content but the price still scares me...we will see what happens :p

Well it will be downloadable content so DLC is after all what it is if you keep the definition at this. The only thing we know about a price is how much the expansion pack cost when it was available, 40€ i think it was, make the conversion if you need to. Anyway that garantees access to all major expansions(not the paintjobs or anything similar) as they are released, without further cost. So it seems safe to say that all expansions put together should add up to more than 40€. However they are not mandatory and they won't be released all at once, spreading the cost over time. This pack as i said is no longer available so the only way for people who dont have it to get these expansions will be to buy them separately.
