Launcher doesn't work, just keeps redirecting me to 'need new launcher'. What gives?

The downloaded client-installer is still version 0.4.2649.0, so they have yet to put up the new version it seems.

If you take a look on the version number of the required launcher and the version number of the launcher we can download you can see that the numbers don't met. We get the wrong installation file!

Same here - it downloads the old installer (0.4.2659.0), resulting in an endless loop

I had the same problem, downloading the client installer from my account page solved it.
But still no Upgrade button...

1 download installer because propted to update
2 download and install it
3 Start the launcher
4 Goto 1 :-(

Yes - it's been posted on twitter. I'm not even sure if you'll need a new launcher - the beta didn't need one.

that's strange... after renaming the .dmg to .exe and install the new launcher i hadn't all of these problems...

only problem i encountered after renaming the file extention to .EXE was there is as yet no option to upgrade the main game only the beta still (for those who have beta access) though i wouldnt reccommend trying to update the beta now as the new launcher will hang on you

congratulations FD.. the new launcher install is a .DMG file (thank goodness i know that to get it to work i have to rename it to .EXE!

I apparently have the new launcher (just downloaded it) and it downloaded as an .exe

I would happily put it only for people to download, but then why would you trust me?!

Same as everyone else it seems, the launcher needs updating, even after I have done so. :-(

Either that or maybe don't spam the launcher whilst they are still getting things set up right

Spam the launcher? u mean opening the launcher, log in to see if the update is ready and if not, do the process again and again like i did in the last hours?
