The release of Powerplay a Friday evening, is unexpected and impressive. But it is also well thought. Many people had planned to do something on Friday evening. So the launch will be smooth without too much overload

What the heck did they stuff in the new launcher to increase it's size tenfold compared to the previous one???
Is this some form of reverse zipping? Did you guys zero-pad it? Cause installed size did not increase by 100mb...
I'm just saying, maybe check on that, it seems to be a bug of some kind. Some unused static libs?

hi have just down loaded the new launcher but every-time try to open the launcher is keeps asking me keeps down it!! is this a glitch or because the server is down for updating???
That's kind of inconsistent, since selecting the same target from the left panel would leave your route untouched. Something for the first patch I hope.
I can confirm I get a different version when downloading from my account.
Guys, didn´t they say we should give them up to six hours to update the servers?

Updating the servers and putting the client up for download are two different things. And with the download speeds some unlucky people report getting putting the client up as soon as possible would be nice.

You pretty much answered your own question. I'm not sure why anyone is bothering to launch the game with the big flashy message still at the top of the page.
New launcher keeps trying to download .dmg Mac installer on a PC! Figured it was a one-off, but after 15 minutes and a dozen tries, still not fixed. There is not reference I can find to a direct download off zoance.net.
Edit: Took 30 minutes, but finally fixed. Downloading .exe.

I'm happy with an update coming along, but I still have a feeling it's a bit rushed. Weren't there like two or three beta updates in the same amount of days this week?
