The upgrade cost is based on the products you have in the store, so it is a copy of the game, beta 2 and the expansion pack, so £85. You'd have to pay £15 to upgrade.

Hi Eric, long time no see mate. I really should have made more than 40 posts in this forums by now eh! Some of you are on thousands. Feels like yesterday that we were all excited on KS watching the totals go up every day. My F5 key have never been the same!

Where exactly can I download the Beta? I purchased the alpha a while ago and I have only the option to download the alpha, not the beta on the store.zaonce portal page.

Login to the store, and go to "My Account" and then "My Downloadable Products" Should be in there.

Alpha should contain the single player missions already.

Premium beta may well be listed too, it's the same launcher.

It isn't!

This is because you don't want the beta. The beta is a subset (just the single player) missions from the alpha. If you have access to the alpha, just download that.

OK, so by saying two weeks (i.e. alpha backers will get the first build on or around 16th May) and Premium Beta on 30th May, you're basically saying that if the initial date is missed, it will just mean that alpha folks get less test time.

And if they hit the date, and everything is wonderful & rosy in terms of bugs, then Premium Beta backers needn't worry, because it simply means they have time to add more stuff before the 30th.

Well, the reason it feels like "yesterday" for you is BECAUSE you haven't made the insane number of forum posts like some of us have...you're one of the sane ones!

I too held back for a couple of months after the KS, but during last years summer vacation I got restless...

If the alpha players have access to pre premium beta (mid-may), 15 days before the full release, while alpha V4.0 should be released very soon (to exist at least 4 weeks).

It's been stated over and over again that the Alpha early access to Betas is only a matter of a couple of hours, as a final sanity check safety net.

Not weeks, not even days.

*Edit* Just been pointed out to me the strange DB quote (apologies I can't read!), this seems to be going back on what was said before. Doesn't seem fair to the Beta commanders.

Two weeks are reasonable and does not surprise me. And the backers of the premium beta, now have access to a small alpha. It's cool for to wait
