It won't until premium beta is released later today, but you will need the new launcher to be able to run the game.

This isn't the case as you've already been testing 4.03. This build will go out to Premium beta (and alpha of course) at the same time.

Just installed the launcher update . I'm so giddy, as a premium backer, this will be my first time jumping into the cockpit! I hope this project works out, despite some heat from a month ago. This game looks incredible!
