Hmmm... installed but for some reason there are no preset xbox pad controls, but there was in the alpha combat scenarios!

Ha shoot. Same here, I've learned to use the 360 pad as I don't have a joy for now. Was there a preset in alpha 4 ? PB is mainly alpha 4 right ?
Hmm, the download gods don't like me. While my Aussie ADSL2 is happy enough (speedtest.net reports 4 MBPS download speed), the ED download is barely alive at 0.07 MBPS.
That's pretty slow! No idea why it's this bad.
I have Fiber tested out at 45 MBPS and I'm bouncing between .5 and 2.8 MBPS but hey.....the PB is released!!!!!! WooHooo!!!!!
After the download I have to attend training then go into work for the day so I won't be able to play till tonight.....drat.
but it is RELEASED!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm not upset. The delay gave me time to lug a large HDTV into the study, and put it where my regular-size monitor used to be. My wife is shaking her head.
I've also done a new ROCCAT tablet layout for stuff like FRAME SHIFT, HYPERSPACE, LANDING GEAR, CARGO SCOOP. Lots of stuff my li'l old Alpha 1.1 version lacked.
Downloading is slightly quicker now - probably because everyone else has finished, lol. Closing in on 90% done.
Very happy.

Yes, same here. The help button actually describes using a Gamepad and it does take XB360 input as it recognises Start and Back button presses, so this must be a bug.

Well with the Premuim Beta now downloaded, I need to figure it the controls, really wanted to try the new hyperdrive and super cruise but it's so confusing... must be too old for all this...

I actually had done similar with Alpha, I took a snap shot of the instruction guidance and created a power point slide!

OK, I'm home from work. I've updated the launcher and am currently downloading the new installer.
Now, I'm being told to be sociable and go to the village pub with the missus. It is our Friday ritual. If you see a wobbly flyer crashing into everything at around midnight BST, it'll probably be me.
Especially, since there'll be a whole load of additional controls to learn by the sounds of it.
