I've been playing planet coaster 2 for a while now, i really enjoy it but i have some suggestions that would make this game even better.
Preshows
What i would give to be able to build working preshows in my park. I think this would work by placing down a special floor, with placeable gates like those on ride stations, on which guests will be able to watch the preshow. It would be nice to seperate the priority guests from regular guests. The trigger system should work like it would on a flat ride, with a trigger from start, which you can use to trigger a sequencer. You should be able to connect multiple preshows to an attraction.
Complex trackless dark rides
The already existing trackless dark rides aren't really trackless, because they still follow a track with all of its limits. The key point of a trackless dark ride is that the layout is unpredictable, but with the current track builder that effect cannot be reproduced. I came up with a new way to build trackless rides, hoping that it would inspire you.
First of all, a ride floor must be built, like how you would build flat roofs or floors for buildings, placing down square tiles untill you are happy with the surface area. This is done with special ride floor tiles. Then, a station segment can be built and a layout can be designed.
A layout can be designed using key positions, (like keyframes if you're into video editing or animation,) which can be placed on the ride floor. the game draws paths inbetween key points which the vehicles follow. I can imagine my explanation is a little abstract, so i made a visual explanation which is way more detailed than this one, be sure to check it out in the attached files. In this visual explanation i also explain how multiple cars can act as a train and as individual cars with their own individual paths in this editing style, alongside many other features.
More control over moving platforms
In an event sequencer, you should be able to set a desired position or rotation and a transition duration. that's all.
Better sequencer
Let's be real, creating a lightshow (or any other trigger show for that matter) is such a pain. Not only is it not very precise because you can only program down to a tenth of a second, but also do you have to program every single individual light. Also, unlike the first planet coaster game, you cannot really organise your triggers as well. so my solutions:

Also, unlike the first planet coaster game, you cannot really organise your triggers as well. so my solutions:
- feature to group triggerable objects (but make sure they can still be individually triggered/ in multiple groups)
- program down to 100th of a second
- Sequence/trigger groups (just like the original planet coaster, but with the new planco 2 sequencer)
