∞ probes?

Wow still going.

So what’s better gameplay incentive?

(Limited) run out of probes = can’t play the planet scan part of the game

(Infinite) use probes efficiently = find/get better stuff

Unfortunately I think the only incentive for efficient probing is credit gain. It’s still fun to challenge yourself, but really? Credit bonus?

Ohh what if you can beat the current discovery CMDRs efficiency and replace their tag? Now we have (dare I say it) Exploration PvP!

Hay akaliel. Obisian Ant does reviews and such on multiple space sim. Who could say The polls was rigged. You get a few NMS or SC players and other games see a poll and they Vote for a game they DON'T play. How fair are those polls?

Now if the Poll was the only set up from Frontier sent to players who own Elite Dangerous using the game info. Username and Email The Polls could be different.

If you want to dispute polls why not make a different topic

Sure. A video about a game they don't play. So in a force that dwarfs the people that DO play it, they all go to the poll enmass and vote for the exact same thing. Definitely, that's it. For sure it can't be that people just don't want to grind stupid probes.

No, you're thinking of the old system, when everything was handed to us. One honk and you got it all. I completely agree with FD here, all I want is for the new system to have a good flow to it. And to not unnecessarily disengage players from their activity for the sake of someone else's immersion. I'm glad they agree with me.

Agreed... I can't see materials being a viable (sole) answer to probe generation.

Hence the "Fuel Scoop" in specific rings types or around specific gas giant types. Fairly easy to add I suspect, and would add the necessary "juggling" to add to consideration and reward to keeping your number of probes topped up ;)
