Morning
@Roxxsmom, thanks for sharing!
I had a quick check, there are one or two similar reports on the issue tracker being investigated, you can see one of them here:
https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/27104
If you'd like to share more details you can do so over on the tracker and also see the progress from the team there too
Thanks for the reply
I did go and report it on the tracker. I've seen some similar posts about aquatic pack animals occasionally swimming through barriers, but it's been constant with this particular habitat in this particular zoo, which I started after the last patch. There seems to be something particular about the dynamic of a long, thin water area in an enclosure that is screened off with mesh on at least one end with the rest of the river uninhabited and extending beyond. They aren't escaping into an adjacent habitat on the other side of the enclosure, so I don't know if putting another habitat down on the constant escape side would help or not. Maybe they'd be reluctant to cross the barrier if there were crocodiles on the other side?
I don't know if the null barriers on either side of the screen are playing a role, but I did widen the screened-off area to make sure it was completely sunk into the dirt on either bank, but it hasn't helped.
This zoo does seem to be buggy, unfortunately. I had an issue yesterday where the options to move some of my animals weren't showing up on the interface when I clicked on them, but it went away when I restarted the zoo. I've gotten interface issues off and on in the game since I've been playing (some buttons being intermittently not clickable or menu options disappearing). It may be a memory issue, because raising the memory priority to "high" for the game helps, even though my system is well above the recommended specs. The animal escape problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with memory, however.
