problem with game causing ASUS Anti-Surge to activate

this has happened twice now one time yesterday and today only when playing the game it triggered my ASUS anti-surge i do not get this at all i have 500w that should be fine i recently upgraded graphics card to play this that requires 300w or more to use all my other systems are fine to even went over it with the pc place on the day i got the graphics card to make sure they said it was all fine even got my pc cleaned that day to.

its only ever done it since playing this yesterday my other games are fine so is going on internet and watching vids i can do all it normally its only on this game its done it so far i will go back on if it was like yesterday it should be fine to play now for the rest of the day if it does it again tomorrow ile just put up with it until i can figure it out. some say disable it as asus anti surge can be over sensitive but i do not know its kinda anoying.

my pc specs are i use a ASUS H81M-PLUS motherboard a i7-4790K CPU 4.00GHz processor 64bit operating system with 16Gb RAM i use a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4Gb graphics card witch is fine before some say lol my pc has 500w power supply

UPDATE - Seems only to do it on career mode at moment went on today but i went strait onto sandbox has not done it ones only time it had done it was career mode dont know why witch is wierd only does it there.

Have you tried turning on Vsync or limiting your max frame rate?
the vsync is on already the frame rate do know how to do it only seems to do it one time in the day as it hasent done it agin but ile try it after i get off today see if it worked tomorrow thanks.

I'd recommend just disabling ASUS anti-surge. If your PSU is trash (rated wattage says almost nothing about quality) it should be replaced, but ASUS anti-surge is notoriously sensitive.

Cobra engine titles can be quite demanding and it's not surprising that Planet Zoo causes higher transient loads than other games.

if it does it again tomorrow ile turn it off ile replace the cpu in jan next year as cant really afford it till then as Christmas and all lol i got to get a external hard drive so i can update to windows 10 without deleting everything then aswell. though i dont have problems with others games i play like jwe or total war games but ok thanks for the information and help.

So with that knowledge, any highly populated Park is causing the issue then as I'm guessing you haven't built a park nearly as populated or full as the prebuilt career ones?

no i havent i plan on upgrading cpu to 650 in January so hopefully be fine then as it only happens 1 time then lets me continue for rest of time playing.

ASUS tools are notorioisly crap. And I say that as a dedicated ASUS hardware guy. I'm not familiar with Anti-Surge but I'm assuming it is one of the ASUS Suite tools? Just disable the thing. If you have a quality and properly functioning PSU you shouldn't have any problems.

That said 500w seems low for a gaming PC. I would never build one using such a small PSU. I think my current system has an 1100W PSU if I recall, though I built it awhile ago so my memory might be bad.

lol i do plan on upgrading it to 650 though depends on how much a 1000w one costs and if my motherboard can use it wont be until jan i upgrade it the anti surge thing only seems to happen on career mode and only 1 time then lets continue to play the rest of the day..
