Procedural generation of unexplored systems

Hello,

Presuming the unexplored systems in Beta haven't been generated until someone visits them and they're randomly generated, does this mean that those same systems will generate differently or the same in the main game (2.2) once it's released?

stellar forge was used by frontier up to and after the game went live at 1.0. The galaxy as far as the procedurally generated systems hasnt changed since then. The systems will generate as they would have at 2.1 or 2.2 ( the basica planets in the systems will all be the same) planetary side content is on a planet procedural engine which is tied in but different from stellar forge.

So it will be the same as the beta that is the live version ( but of course youre discoveries in the beta world wont carry over)

Thats not how it works. The system isnt generated when someone enters for the first time. Every single system has been generated long ago, using Stellar Forge. This resulted in 'seeds', which is deterministic code that will always have that specific system turn out the same, no matter when and who discovers it first.

the seed will always procude the same system anyway end result same

The system isn't just generated the first time someone enters the system, it's generated every time someone enters the system. If they changed the way generation works, the discovered systems would change as well.
