Professor Alba Tesreau reports that unidentified objects have been seen near Wregoe SC-X b29-2

There are many distress beacon signals and wreckage sites on all planets in that system, I've collected 16 occupied escape pods today. I'm not sure it is related to Alexandria, but from another side, this system is not so close to the Bubble for being filled with crash sites and beacons. Another interesting detail is that all degraded emissions site with the Alexandria debris are placed along the radii line like if the megaship was destroyed in motion while approaching the planet. May be just coincidence

I think the linear distribution implies that they entered the jump and made it to their destination in the belt. Just the exit was at a linear location, not a punctual one so it spread the Alexandria in a neat line all over the belt. The dangers of trans-dimensional travel when you confuse a variable and define it as 2D instead of 1D. Smeared into a streak by hyperdimensional forces. Sad end to a sad story.

There wasn't that many signals in the beginning. Now that the system has had quite a bit of traffic, they have organically appeared.
The Alexandria degraded emissions are different because they are POIs (and have no time limit) instead of signal sources.

I wish I could send some audio logs telling a story to my customers facing issues in my product, and still stay in extended vacation without have to release any statement about fix the issues, when I'll return or even show what's ahead.

Oh boy... I'm working at the wrong place. :)

update: Nice story btw :)
Odds are this wasn't a manual process. This was probably added to the game months ago and the hint was set up to be pushed out after a time limit or if a commander enter the system but didn't notice/investigate the signal source.

if humanity was actually concerned about the thargoids and a war with them, we'd see a drive towards expanding to the 99.999% of the rest of the galaxy or even just colonia in a serious manner. Since we know thargoids seem to only care about this one litlte bit of the galaxy - and the galaxy is full of planets that can host host humanity or be made to.

what's really going on here? Why would secret government projects and programs have been made that span decades to escape the bubble in case the thargoids return, but now that they have returned, there's zero movement?

What changed? Was the Club really protecting humanity and were all eliminated - leaving us without their guiding hand - unable to corral humanity among it's many different factions? Have we made contact with something that makes us far less worried about the end of humanity at the hands of the thargoids even though not even the guardians could accomplish such a feat without being killed off despite being apparently far more advanced than humanity currently is?

If guardian AI has been contacted, is it orchestrating humanity's current position as a lure to draw the thargoid out so it can finish the job it failed to do millions of years ago?

Are we reading far more into the narrative than what has actually been put into it and are working ourselves up for another formadine rift?
Just because you don't hear about anything doesn't mean it's not happening. Hell Colonia itself could have been a part of this. Many government heads and scientists have gone missing over the last several years. Hell no one knows where the head of state is for the empire.

There were never any plans to move the entirety of humanity. Only a handful.

I need a place to read about all these storylines. I've been disconnected from the game and hve forgotten much of this stuff.

Resume in text

They are PoIs, not signals. No timers. Unless the story removes them.
Yes but marked as degraded emissions yes? so essentially their could be more, the reason I ask is for lets say what i mentioned above about Raxxla is be on the looked for Emissions with no timers on them if this was the case

If you dont see it reflected in the game, then it's not happening. It's not like talking about seeing the minutia of how the stations sustain themselves ...it's populating other systems. if it were happening, it would show up - systems can't contain a population without notice.

Colonia could be retconned to be that...but as it stands, it's not. Colonia was started by an accident from a cyborg bartender with no apparent ties to anyone anymore. He was only discovered quickly because of a snafu in implementing the event. And he only became a new bubble after fdev agreed to add systems to the area due to player demand. There's been no tie back to any sort of connection to thargoids or being a safeguard against war.

there was an entire narrative plot that spanned years, centered around multiple books and one of the largest official player events in the game over the multi-decade plot to create fallback routes for humanity along multiple paths for the upcoming thargoid war. Orchestrated by a group that had it's hands in the highest levels of both powers.

Are are we roleplaying revisionist history conspiracies by the current governments in the game here?

apparent being the key word.

Also moving a handful of staff and leaders onto a ship somewhere ready to be moved and restart humanity wouldn't exactly be noticeable.
review the event. multiple earth likes and terraformable worlds were plotted and laid out in this plan along different secret routes. it was a wide scale escape plan for humanity
