The scanner is broken in odyssey, so ship combat is a bit more complicated.
I don't think this is true any more. Now we can go inside stations and planetary ports and hear PA announcements warning that thargoids can attack at any moment, as well as eavesdrop on other pilot's conversation and hear them discussing their own encounters. While these aren't "regular" people, none of them are claiming the thargoids are a non-existent threat. All those people (basically 6.6 Trillion of them) who didn’t know the Thargoids existed, thought it was all a political exaggeration or that they were old wives tales or stories to scare children with? Well a huge amount are probably still in exactly the same mindset. Some probably even more so, after so far they’ve turned out not to be some overwhelming existential threat to humanity. And some will no doubt think it’s all a hoax. And I'd expect that belief that it's a hoax to be growing if anything - after all, most of it's still effectively happening millions and millions of miles (literally) away from the every day lives of most people in the bubble.
Yes, previous attempts to suppress knowledge of the Thargoids have failed and more people know about them now.I don't think this is true any more. They happen and are, unfortunately, just a bug.Errr, has anyone else seen this on the surface of Wregoe TC-X b29-0 AB 2 A?
I think I found the ghost of captain Morales, doomed to walk the surface of this desolate world until the fate of the Alexandria's crew is avenged?

You found the signal for a fleet carrier that left the system after you jumped in. Since it is no longer present the POI ends up on/slightly below the surface of the body it was orbiting.I think I found the ghost of captain Morales, doomed to walk the surface of this desolate world until the fate of the Alexandria's crew is avenged?

IB4 reports from explorers and other travellers of seeing a drifting megaship in Witchspace sending faint SOS signals out. But it's all dismissed as space madness.Nope, it's the ghost of Captain Morales. He deserves to be revenged or we're all D O O M E D ! ! !
I didn't get the email and wasn't involved in the previous CG . I was able to scan the logs. Just saw this post so I jumped there to check it out On xbox series x.I am in the right system, flew up to 3 of the Degraded Emissions, found the wreckage, targeted the Data Point moved in till the scanner showed blue successfully scanned the Data Point but no logs received. I'm wondering if this is like the previous mystery where only those involved with a particular CG received the trigger message and because I didn't get the original message the logs aren't available to me
Yeah it was my bad, I expected the logs to show up in the message panel like they used to. I gave up after scanning 3 but then discovered the logs hidden under settlements in the Codex archive so I flew back and got the rest. The audio logs are really good aren't theyI didn't get the email and wasn't involved in the previous CG . I was able to scan the logs.
