I found one too many -- A Cyclops ate my Corvette! But, an easy rebuy, and I spent the last hours adding about 24 scouts to the lower tiers to raise all boats. By now, Tier 5 is almost upon us.

Done deal! 'Grats to all Commanders, squadrons, and wings on a job done well and quickly.

I only just made 10%, in style.

Was on 25% @ 75,600,000, undocked to squeeze in one last kill. Undocked, but realised I forgot to repair with 49% hull left. Figured there wasn't enough time, so I decided to go for one kill instead of two, and fit out Standard Shard Rounds, just in case. Got the kill in with 200m to spare on the clock, which bumped me to top 10%.
 
I'm not saying that giving rewards to only the top 25% encourages pushing for the end - but giving rewards to only the top 25% encourages pushing for the end :)

(you'd expect Sunday to be slightly larger than Saturday, but both CGs look like they would have been massive (though of course in that case there would have been less cause to rush :) )

It went through the ceiling when the haulers joined the fray.
 
My usual problem with the T-10 vs Cyclops is losing my voice - from shouting "MOVE FASTER!".

A little part of me is happy that some inspiration was taken from that video I threw up.

Shards barely stand up to a Basilisk (I'm yet to take one down, but that's just me being ill-prepared generally) and don't even think about it for Medusa or Hydras, so figured people had already done this and concluded gauss was better because they can shoot, and I can't :p

So, yay!
 
I can honestly say that 11 Medusa interceptors and 1 cyclops on my own in my cutter was good enough. I got 99 mil and comfortably made top 10%. All I needed was 4 Guardian gauss cannons, a pair of remote flak cannons, 1 thermal vent turreted beam and plenty of materials to synthesis flak ammo and heat sinks. Only needed standard ammo as for myself I have good aim and up to now never had to synthesise any gauss ammo. Only takes around 30 mins per kill.

Just to clarify, "standard" or "basic"?.... Don't forget the tiers of synthesis ammo are "Basic" (default), "Standard", and "Premium"

top 10% for trade CG, and top 25% of thargoid CG!!!!!!!!!!!


hopefully that means 2 double engineered FSD's xD

one for my transport python and one for my asp explorer :D
