If you haven't reached the galactic core yet, I've found a very dense Neutron Highway at around 1000 LY under the galactic plane.
It's so dense that the galaxy map plotter can automatically plot the route inserting also red-dwarves every 4-6 jump to allow refuelling.
It's roughly 11,000 LY long so it allows you to save some time on the return if you don't want to stop by over there and I've made something like 50-60 jumps with an average of 245-250 LY/jump.
The first Pulsar is in a red nebula, the system is: Blua Flyi NX-B d13-3, and the highway leads you up to the Core Sector, see picture below:
