Yea, doesn’t make any sense. I mean other than designing another time pit.
Remote workshops as implemented, are by and large a pointless feature as far as i'm concerned.
I didn't read the beta notes. I read the release patch notes, which didn't explain any of this.
...Not even mentioning the material traders who enjoy playing hide and seek instead of advertising their business openly.
Maybe it's just me, but I could not find any of them yet. I'm sitting on a heap of G5 mats to trade, but I'd need some G3 garbage to get to G5. I was in hope of being able to finish with at least one module, but thanks to the usual lack of in-game information here I have to be again, googling around in vain...
But you can just transport all your to be converted mods to the engineer base, should just take ~20-30min.
You can’t engineer stored modules.Have a lpok here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...rial-Traders?p=6444568&viewfull=1#post6444568

Not being able to convert legacy mods remotely is indeed strange. But you can just transport all your to be converted mods to the engineer base, should just take ~20-30min.
The problem is not so much the number of modules but the number of ships. I have 11 ships most of them heavily RNGineered and if I wanna use the new engineer services I need to convert them. Of course I can trick stuff with module transfer but that's mostly possible for utility and hardpoints (coz most inner modules have mass/class limitations depending on the ship) and even then it involves a ton of module swapping (+wait times for transfer, etc).Calm down, didn't want to offend you... I was just speaking about transfer times, not the overall required time. I totally understand that the current way this is handled is annoying, if you want to convert many modules.

I linked information about material traders as galahad had a question about it.
That one is understandable, and is more for hardcore minmaxing you'll only wanna do on very few ships. You must be at Engineer base to set a special effect.

There's really no sense in not providing a way to convert modules easily. They're supposed to "encourage" this for god's sake.
And so... we should have read the fine print users contract?
FD - Fix it!
Me customer, you business.
2.5 million copies sold, you can fix it and save many many people much tedious loading screen time.
It’s a product right, not a religion or political party?

I think they said you have to go to the engineers for that.
