Question about Asteroid bases

Do all of them have large sized landing pads? Becuase that's the only type I've seen, but I'm worried I'll run into one with only medium pads while in a large sized ship, and it'll be embarrassing. Please help.

Generally these are the asteroids crashing on a surface, and not the reverse.
