Question about star rotation rate

Can you tell how fast a star is rotating with scanned info? I have come across a few stars that were just whizzing around their axis! I was also wondering if there was a record for it. Obviously if you can't tell how fast it is spinning there wont be a record for it

They won't post the rate of rotation because then people will look it up to compare it real stars and find out ED stars are rotating at ridiculous speeds. In ED, the rotation would be measured in minutes or even seconds, but IRL its measured in days. Even for young stars that are freshly collapsed.

A herbig is what got me thinking that, but then I saw an A class (I think) star that was rotating super fast. After I found that, I just HAD to ask!
