Release Question concerning tool compatibility and feature overlap?

Hello everybody,

upfront my apologies if the question has been raised and answered before, but I didn't find anything here.

I have been playing Elite for a year now using a few tools and always found one or the other feature missing in tool a or b. For example I use Captains Log for exploration purposes. I also use EDEngineer and lately ED Market Connector (since i found that it updates my ship data on inara).
However .. every day i find new nice tools and would like to try some out.
What however I do not know is what happens when you use multiple tools that do the same things and supposedly also update the same sites.
Is there a chance that two tools sending for example the trip related data to EDSM at the same time will mess up things?
Is there a compatibility or feature matrix telling us which feature combinations could be archieved with which tools and where incompatibilities or problems may arise?

Or to put it in one (rather stupid) question: Can I use ALL toools simultaneously without messing around with the data?

PS: If such a list does not exist .. would it make sense to create one?

I think it's safe to say that there shouldn't be any issues regarding data while using multiple tools at once. In the worst case, there will be just multiple reports of the same data sent to EDDN network (when not disabled in the respective tool/app).

I am really somewhat surprised that so far nobody seems to have pondered the question.
