Who cares if other do it? I'm not asking for a weekly version of Interstellar, all I'm after is something that uses the assets we have from Galnet, previous videos, unseen concept art, V.O, text etc. Even if its not much more than a pretty Powerpoint at least its short, gets to the point and does not outstay its welcome.

Hexedit comes originally from Drew Wagar's "Oolite saga" (where it is indeed a reference to hex-editing of computer files - the first book "Status Quo" is the first appearance of "hexedit" and was full of in-jokes like that) and was reused from that in his Zurara storyline. In other words, it predates the Elite Dangerous Kickstarter by several years.

It's not impossible that whoever in Frontier was placing Raxxla knew that Drew was using the reference on the Zurara, happened to like it, then placed something relevant to Raxxla in a system called Kwatis, while also ensuring that "Kwa" was in the generic procedural system name phoneme list so that the system didn't look anything out of the ordinary. But it seems extraordinarily improbable.

Yeah I have no idea. The hunt for Raxxla fizzled out and this was the first lead in a while. I dont know how or what happened. But it lines up.

I just wanna know if its part of the hunt or not. If its not, then they shouldnt let us waste time on that part then. They wouldnt be giving anything away. We'd be right back where we were before. Which is fine.

Before there was those missions with the SAP 8 cores, cant find that stuff anymore either.

Something either got removed or remade for this raxxla thing at some point. Its hard to know if we are getting anywhere.

Ah I got my days mixed up! The live stream is today.
All day Tuesday I was convinced it was Wednesday!
I'm on week 2 of a fortnight off so I don't have work as a frame of reference for what day it is and I've mostly been chilling in the house with no TV on. Just playing games.
