The game looks and plays great so far and most of my previous worries have been extinguished. I'm happy to see that animals can now dive under water. I know it's only in Alpha stage, and things will definitely change before release. Here are some things that will hopefully be resolved
1. So far it looms like animals don't lay eggs. However I'm pretty confident that this is only temporary. Incubation and egg hatching is pretty family friendly unlike mating and live birth. It would be odd not to include this.
2. Will peafowl eventually free-range? The cover art showed a peafowl on a fountain so I'm hopeful that peafowl exhibits are only temporary.
3. Will baby animals stay close to mothers? So far baby animals have been all over the place, when realisticlyly they would stay close to parents. It would be great to see baby primates clinging onto their mothers, and ostrich chicks clutching together.
Again these are only minor problems when compared to all other great things about the game. I hope they will get resolved.
