Quick reality-check regarding FC navigation?

The simplest solution would be if, when you're jumping an FC, there's no pop-out menu in the Bookmark tab.

Weirdly enought that the case on my end, but it seems I'm the only one ? I tried again in-game so I'm pretty sure about it, but when I click my bookmark, the popup bookmark won't propose to make my FC jump, only to plot a route. I have to hover the system with my mouse and click "set FC destination" button on the system popup. Why is my game different I don't know.

[edit] Bl1p you genius ! That's it, all my bookmark are station or planet or POI, none are system, that's must be why, will try it.

Its right click btw to get the pop up plot route.

Erm, yes. That's my whole point.

If you're jumping a ship, you can open the galmap, go to the bookmarks tab, select a bookmark and then select "set destination" and your course will be plotted all they way to your destination planet.
If you're jumping an FC you can follow the exact same procedure but you'll end up at the system's Primary and that's your lot.

It's kind of like booking a plane ticket to Seattle and the plane lands in New York and decides that's the end of the line.

You'd click your bookmark, the galmap would scroll to the relevant system and then you'd click on it on the galmap and click "set jump" (or you could open the sysmap and plot a more accurate jump).
At least that wouldn't mislead you into thinking you were actually going to jump TO your bookmark when you select it.

Course, the preferable solution would be if it worked properly and set the bookmarked body AS the destination for the FC's jump.
Oh Bantha-poodoo - I was certain I was using bookmarks to Jump my Carrier but what I was actually doing - now that I've actually looked lol - was using the bookmark to take the map to that location then clicking the Carrier Jump button.
Facepalm! Sorry about that.

On a vaguely related note, I suddenly feel compelled to jump my FC straight to Hutton Orbital, just cos I can. :p
That was almost the first thing I did, just so I could take a picture of myself in an Anaconda out there. :p

On the other hand, I've been to Sag A* and back in my carrier (and lots of other places) and never once noticed the problem you mention. I guess it's just not something that occured to me. :)
