Radio chatter?

Wonder if there will be "radio chatter" around stations? Sure would make the area seem more "alive" and help those lonely locations feel more, well, lonely.

It would be great to hear NPC coms in high traffic areas would it not? I think it would :D

I imagine flying around for days/weeks and finally reaching civilization, to hear voices again would create a really nice effect.

Man I'm excited to start exploring.

I could see hearing the station (as with today's air traffic, pilots to tower are on a separate frequency than tower to pilots) and it would be great to monitor air traffic control but not sure if they'll implement it.

What about, don't know how to say this, a ship "signal" like a distress signal, only more of a "I'm here" signal that allows commanders to announce where they are, say like a 2ly radius of something, for those on tat frequency.

Otherwise, how many times will we be out there in the lonely galaxy, pass within mere light years of another commander and never even know it?

Ya, could be a dinner bell for pirates but, it would be pretty cool none the less. Think of it as a camp fire in the wilderness, easy to see, may not always brings the company you desire lol.

I like this idea.

I imagine it would work like a control tower at an airport where all CMDRs in the vicinity listen in on your comms and you listen in on theirs..
