Cars in GTA have a road to follow and only move in 2 dimensions. There are no roads in space.

What i meant is that the npc's see that there is an obstacle ahead and react accordingly.
In ED it feels like i'm invisible.

Yes, but this doesn't help outside of a starport. Cops ricochet off my ship all the time, no worries.

It's the NPC BHers in tiny, unshielded ships who kill themselves "scanning" me (whilst *I* get the blame) that are the bugbear here.

Unwarranted murder bounty #4 due to ram-scan suicider

Yesterday I took my brand new FGS to a haz res to try it out. First npc was ram scan FAS which took my shields and 27% of my hull, second ship was a ram scan cobra which took me to 43% hull. Straight back to station to repair!

Definately some sort of "bash for cash" insurance scam going on!

Ummm I will call on that - have been rammed as I slowed to enter the slot, and I got the fine. Well under the speed limit. Its a BUG, FD has SAID its a bug and they hope to fix it "soon". Until then - well I am playing Fallout 4
