SELENIUM
SELENIUM -NEVER PURE-
If you're looking for Selenium at a volcanic site, you need to search the area for CRYSTALLINE FRAGMENTS, these will have a chance to drop Selenium.

PRTHI, Planet 2 A, is a solid place to get Selenium. by surface mining the old fashioned way, using the SRV to scan for mesosiderites and metallic meteorites; easy driving across this mostly flat, 0.1G ice planet.

ADDITIONAL METHOD FOR PURE G4s -ORIGINAL DATA, Courtesy of Aashenfox.

This route is compiled using data from this wiki page, and with credit to Moriarte for turning us onto these. What we're talking about here are the 'Crystalline Shards'...

Here are the systems and planets to visit to max all true G4s and G5 raws (so everything except Selenium).

You go to the planet, you map it in the usual way, you head to a BIOLOGICAL site, NOT a geological one, and you shoot the crystal pointy bits on the spikes. It's not just better than a volcanic site, it's like an all you can eat buffet, I had barely scratched the fields of crystals before I was full. At one field I didn't get 700m from the ship.

The planets are all very low G so expect flying materials, the sites of crystals were all nice and flat and driveable except ONE planet, the one with Antimony, you may need to check several bio sites before you find one that looks driveable. Both systems are about 1600ly away and about 400ly from each other.

HIP 36601, Planet C 1 d. (0.08 G) (154,104 ls) for Ruthenium.
HIP 36601, Planet C 1 a. (0.09 G) (154,099 ls) for Polonium.
HIP 36601, Planet C 3 b. (0.04 G) (154,145 ls) for Tellurium.
HIP 36601, Planet C 5 a. (0.03 G) (154,288 ls) for Technetium.
Outotz LS-K d8-3, Planet B 5 c. (0.07 G) (310,420 ls) for Antimony (go to site #1)
Outotz LS-K d8-3, Planet B 5 a. (0.09 G) (310,420 ls) for Yttrium.
