I decided at that point, I did not want to be part of such nasty, unhelpful community
With this statement about the community you've single-handedly offended everyone here. I've contributed to a number of forums over the years, and this is one of the friendliest I've been on; full of like-minded people to chat with about all things Elite and other stuff too. Everyone here is respectful, welcoming and supportive, couldn't ask for a nicer community.
I haven't seen any of the writers showing off or any "nudge nudge, wink wink" attitudes either, just a general feeling of mutual respect, helpfulness and like-minded discussion. Seems to be all in your mind Alien, unless you can back up what you've said with some tangible evidence. All the writers are seriously dedicated to making sure everyone gets involved to get the most out of the Elite universe, and don't forget, we're all Elite fans like everyone else here, even though some of us haven't been on this forum since it began.
Why take things so personally? The comment about 25, 000 people ignoring you is particularly bizarre. I've noticed a number of messages you've posted in the past, which to any newcomer hardly seemed welcoming. You seem to contradict yourself a lot, and you say you don't want to "rock the boat", yet by posting this message here, you're doing just that. You just keep on digging that hole for yourself deeper and deeper...
Seriously, whatever your problems are:
let it go. Instead of spending time writing divisive messages like this (and I particularly don't like the unapologetic threat at the end, which pretty much implies everyone here), you could be discussing more stuff about Elite (both old and new) and enjoying yourself like everyone else.
Oh, and on the subject of cupcakes? I find the whole cupcake thing deeply offensive. Why? Because I'm hungry and haven't received mine yet either... People have a right to their fair share of cupcakes!
