Re-installed E:D after a long break

After playing S.C. exclusively for the past xxx time (I don’t know the exact time) I got tired of the HOTAS setup I had. I had the X55, which was a great HOTAS and provided years of fun (especially in E:D). However, in the 600i, my favorite space ship in all games, the pilots seat has two sticks. So I started thinking about it and after doing some research I purchased Dual t16000 on Amazon. I got the sticks on Friday and started setting up SC. Then it dawned on me: Helicopters in Xplane 11, with cyclic on the left stick. Awesome! Then I thought, let’s give E:D a go.

Dual joysticks are the bomb! I parked the Cutter and bought an E rated sidewinder and set out to run planet surfaces. After getting the basic keys bound, I set off. I flew to a planet surface outpost and started messing around. Needless to say, the controls are flawless and very fun.

I still have to figure out my throttle decision, and any suggestions would be helpful.
1). I have throttle on my left Y axis, I like it here and don’t want to move it, but, need a way to setup constant speeds. So I might bind, 50,75, and 100 throttle to buttons. In FA off, this is not a problem and works flawlessly. But, FA on leaves something to be desired!

couple of things I noticed: E:D ships fly like airplanes in Xplane 11 in FA on. And why is Yaw so horrible? Also, why can I only boost forward?
