The pad filter is included but inactive, because i didnt have all the data needed from outposts. Iirc only industrial outposts have a large pad, but this has to be confirmed.
I think the info might be in one of the databases collecting stuff from other people, dunno the name though.
Amazing how easily this can be done by a private individual but FD can't find it within themselves to incorporate something like this into ED that doesn't need manually update data because it uses the data straight from the commodity screen.
Even local execution so it doesn't require datasets to be stored on the server would be preferable to nothing at all. Using P2P data sharing, we could even allow data to be shared across many players without using the server at all.

To be fair, many games of this genre (well actually lots of genres too) have user developed content that improve the game. Do I think this is negative toward the game developers? Absolutely not. I'm sure they want to include LOTS of things that never make it to the game, but there are both time and budget reasons as to why they don't make the it into the game at the start or in fact ever.
Update (V1.32b) released:
-Fixes bugs from community feedback reports, added 4 more economies to database. It will be automatically updated at startup.

Where is the data pulled from? I've used other tools in the past and they are great, except when there is no data...so just curious.

quick question , can we import (or at somepoint) via eddn or a normal csv file that the stand alone Eliteorc creates as i would normally using Slopeys tool / thudds site / trade Dangerous , as i update all 3 normally after checking the data
other then that no bugs so far today since the odd ones from last night after the new update Cheers

You gather your own data by visiting the stations and either manual entry or using EliteOCR.
You can share with friends (not tried it) via FTP too if you want.

If this is added, please keep it as an option rather than a default... I would prefer to avoid crowdsourced data and just record my own stuff.
Few small issues I notice with 1.32b
I have the main bar set to bottom x:0 y:1052 , however each time I launch, the main bar is positioned randomly on screen.
When I click options, it resets the position to x:0 y:700 although retains the bottom display mode.
I deleted the ini so it would re-create it, just in case and found that the new startup options don't seem to save the EliteOCR path. I had to edit the ini file myself to add it, it does retain it after that point though.

fixed that error I had managed too nest the TCE program in another TCE folder doh
but now I have it stopiing on the 2 indicator with a debuf error showing as Sub FixDB() the debug screen
any ideads guys

There is no way to do that atm, nor it is planned. TCE uses no crowdsource data and didnt support crowdsource data gathering. If you want to do that, you have to go the usual way over the main EliteOCR application.

I will check the problem with the positioning. With the prestart config, did you select the EliteOCR path manually by typing in, selecting via button or auto-detect?

It already is in it :/ or hmm it wasn't actually but i think the problem did occur when it was as i changed it after the patch.
I Selected the path. It did show the path in the dialog before I clicked start, it also had the OCR button present on the commodities screen but it didn't do anything.
When I quit TCE, I opened the ini and the other paths were saved but not EliteOCR. Adding it manually worked fine though
The path (fwiw) is C:\TCE\EliteOCR so nothing fancy either.

I asked Seeebek abt EliteOCR, if he is capable to implement the translation feature of EliteOCR into his EliteOCRcmd.exe as a command line option. He replied, that maybe in a few days, he would implement this. I thought, it would be nice to run ED with german interface and use your TCE in english, while OCRing the german commodities and get them translated directly from EliteOCR into TCE, unless it is totally localized.
Despite that, I try to have a look into your code and see, if it is maybe possible for me to tryout some localisation of TCE. But with VBA I am not familiar. So I have to get some clue before... Coding in Modula, C, Basic, TCL/TK and a few other languages is not the problem, but abt VBA I dont know anything...
BTW: How can I prevent running TCE in Excel to see the code. Everytime I open it from Excel, it run as a program. Can't go into the VBA-Editor. Only when I go into the trustcenter ad choose "all macros w/o digital signed macros disable". This prevents Excel from running TCE.
