- Where did you have this error?
- Press debug and show me the codeline.
- What did you before the error happens?

I tried your actual version and found the utf-8-import from EliteOCR bugged: commodities with umlauts aren't still read correctly. I understood your comment, that you already implemented utf-8 support into version 1.32c. I modified my TCE.mdb, that I replaced the english commodity names of the goods with the germans, which runs in TCE pretty well despite the names with umlauts aren't read properly from the EliteOCR output file.
Edith 2: BTW, I edited correctly the flag in the TCE.xlsm to "-l deu"
Edith 3: Tested the translate feature: I works like a charm: I can use ED in german and TCE in english and I get the german commodities translate into english into TCE.

tried this with excel 2010 just before 1.1 release went live worked fine was using 1.32b, upgraded to 1.1 & 1.32c and I now get at starttup to three green cubes and it hangs with a runtime 9, script out of range

Preparing a bigger update tomorrow. The new import routine for EliteOCR exports supports utf-8 now. In addition TCE supports the new translation feature also. You can select your OCR language in the Options panel. Perhaps you can share your translation of commodities with me to move a step further of translating TCE into german, if you like.
Yes, it is the difference to the "galactic average". Will check the issue.
Edit: Found both issues.
Looks like a database problem. Are you using a clean install or did you entered data (especially commodities or stations)? Try the last working backup of TCE.mdb.

Hm, I dunno, but I think, the Trade Scout is bugged: It can't be convinced to calculate my latest visited stations against each other. It suggests routes that I did days ago. Even, when I alter the values in total, profit and distance. I can't specify, where the prob is, but it seems highly bugged...
The "Laufzeitfehler 1004" appears every time I save after entering a new station and OCRing then. After a new start of TCE OCRing is directly possible included saving. Very annoying... But you said already, you adressed the problem...

I was able to get TCE working. This is great.
The help mentions this...

I have EliteOCR installed and I added the EliteOCR directory to the configuration. It detected it successfully.
I do not see a START OCR SCAN option. What do I need to do to enable that option?

Maybe, you have before to insert the Station, where you are currrently in, in the Database->Station-Menu in the upper left corner of TCE

Getting some errors.
With updated commodities between two common route stations.
import station has palladium to sell at 14293
export station has palladium to buy at 12495
Both stored correctly in the commodity table.
Click on the new destination and the profit is shown as 81 Cr.
Click on the Trade button and the trade advisor gives a profit of 1801 Cr

Still a few niggling issues with panel positioning, just thought I would let you know.
When I startup, the panel is in the wrong place, but the options show it as the desired Y coordinate:
If I edit the value and press enter, it resets the position as expected, however.. I also lost the 'Ship log' panel.
The hide / show appears to be working well now though
Screen res is 2560x1600, images are resized a little for the forum.
